I cannot see Screen Recording when I tap +

If you cannot see Screen Recording as an option when you tap + then it’s most likely that the version of the phone you have doesn’t support screen recording as we require a minimum of Android 8 version needed for Screen Recording.


If your phone does not have Android 12 or above, please advise your recruiter you won’t be able to do the tasks that involve screen recording.

The timer does not change on my Screen Recording

If the timer on your screen recording does not change, please try the following:

  1. Kill the app and restart. Try to do another screen recording.
  2. If 1 does not work, log out of the app and log back in and try again.
  3. If 2 doesn’t work, check to make sure you have enough space on your phone.

My Screen recording disappears when I tap on the Stop button

This typically occurs when the phone runs low on memory/storage space.

To resolve the issue, can you please try the following?

  1. Go to the Settings on your phone and check your storage.
  2. If the storage space is running low, please can you free up some space on your phone? 
  3. Try to do another recording in the Indeemo app. 

Indeemo Screen Recording's feature does not work

If you have an Android 12 or above, please use the Native Screen Recorder of your phone.

To record your phone screen with your phone's Screen Recorder:

  1. Swipe down twice from the top of your screen.
  2. Tap Screen record. (You might need to swipe right to find it - If it’s not there, tap Edit and drag Screen record to your Quick Settings.)
  3. Choose what you want to record and tap Start. The recording begins after the countdown.
  4. To stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Screen recorder notification or simply click on the stop button that appears on your screen.
  5. Open Indeemo app and tap on the + button.
  6. Choose video.
  7. Select the ‘ScreenRecorder’ folder and upload your video as usual.
